Mid-Canada Mod Center and JD Aero Align on Regional Aircraft MRO
Two industry trailblazers work together to deliver innovative solutions
TORONTO / SAULT STE. MARIE, ON—10 NOVEMBER 2021—Mid-Canada Mod Center (MC2) and JD Aero have agreed to work together to create a greater range of flexible modification and engineering solutions for the regional airline industry worldwide.

Together, JD Aero and MC2 will provide regional airline operators with a broader scope of capabilities through their combined strengths to address increasing demand for competitive and comprehensive services. The alliance will also support special mission operators of regional-type aircraft.

JD Aero will gain valuable access to MC2’s avionics integration expertise along with its extensive and growing portfolio of Supplemental Type Certificate packages for regional aircraft, and an expanded scope of avionics repair capabilities. MC2’s engineering division, ADS, will provide JD Aero clients with multi-discipline design, engineering and airworthiness support and structural repairs
approvals through its Transport Canada Design Approval Organization (DAO) — especially critical today for out-of-production regional aircraft.

MC2 and ADS will now, in turn, be able to offer incremental capabilities to JD Aero’s client base while aircraft are down for scheduled and unscheduled mods and maintenance at the Sault Ste. Marie CYAM JD Aero complex.
