Avionics Installer
We are looking for experienced, detail-oriented professionals to support our avionics installation team in Breslau, Ontario. This role requires strong technical aptitude, adherence to regulatory and safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a team-orientated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and comply with the regulatory requirements and the requirements of the Company manuals.
- Accurate completion of all paperwork in accordance with required procedures, manuals, and other documentation.
- Employ the proper tools, equipment, methods, and techniques required to perform safe aircraft maintenance.
- Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams.
- Accomplish all work tasks and other duties as assigned by the production/ Program Manager.
- Report any unsafe or non-compliant work conditions or practices to the Production/ Program Manager.
Qualifications
- Current or in-progress AME “E” Transport Canada license or related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of technical experience in avionics or related fields.
- Experience in electrical systems, navigation, and flight controls is considered an asset.
- Ability to life to 25kg and perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and at various heights.
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as needed.
- Must be available to travel for occasional AOG recovery operations (or short periods of time for offsite installations).
- Experience with all De Havilland Aircraft of Canada products consider an asset.
